The Lit Palm Tree Fronds...

Took the laser Star Shower lamps out and aimed them at the palm fronds. Yep, nice, we should leave them on all year round...

The Turkey...

Well this year the hospital gave out the turkeys again to employees, BUT, what a little turkey! Honestly it looked more like a big chicken! :D  Not that I care cause I don't eat much turkey, but goes to show you that everywhere things are tight.

This year my daughter wanted to season it and bake it for the first time, because I always make it. So with a couple of questions from her, not many cause she always watches me and knew more or less, of course she added her own touches with the seasoning and it turned out delicious.

Ever since she had her son she has really gotten into cooking, which I love as it used to be all on me and frankly I need a break at this point.

So the boys came over and  we all ate, thankful for what little we have.

So now on to Christmas which will be more joyous this year because of the baby, and then New Years which we will ring in right here at home.

Things have changed so much because of this pandemic...sad...

Part Of The Christmas Decorations...

                                                             My son unraveling lights.

After looking for a large angel for years they finally had one at Home Depot!

Weeks ago my daughter in law saw it and WhatsApped me a pic cause my son knows I've been looking for one, then the next day my daughter went in after work and bought it! My son put it up and also had to carry up some cinder blocks to place on the stand so the wind won't topple it, it feels and looks pretty solid. It's spectacular, and most everybodies put up their decorations and nobody else has it. Yippee!

Now I have to put up the laser green and red lights that I shine on the palm fronds and they twinkle quietly and it looks so cooool!  And that's it, very sedate and understated, but totally eycatching :D no really...No reindeer, snowmen or Santas for us!

My daughter also wanted a Nativity but then we thought that might be too much, maybe next year though...

Hazardous Waters

 https://www.tuvideopr.com/video/1325975266-

The moment when they rescue the bodies of two drowned victims. They were tourists from Georgia. The man a beloved high school principal, his wife a professor, here on vacation. The wife started to drown and the husband jumped in to save her.

It is so sad and tragic when these things happen. There were signs all over in English and Spanish warning of riptides and dangerous currents and no swimming. The winter months here the locals don't go swimming because the ocean gets very, very rough. Only surfers dare to brave the waters then, and surfers know how to maneuver and flow with the ocean nothing ever happens to them.

Every year it happens. this is an island in the middle of an ocean that gets very rough in the winter. No swimming means no swimming. Please if you come down here in the winter months, especially when there are hurricanes in other parts of the ocean, do not go into the ocean. you can look and admire the beauty but you must not go in. Please.

So I fell again...

Wow, I'm just grateful I didn't break anything important but I think I have a fracture in situ, not displaced, in my wrist, either ...
