Adrenals...

 I've been very sick, it seems that because of all the cortisone I've taken for the asthma, my adrenals have stopped producing the natural cortisol so necessary for life. Its been an uphill battle Because my internist knew nothing it seems about the condition. Was hospitalized twice until some nephrologists finally diagnosed it, but they are all still trying to pinpoint a diagnosis as they can't settle on Addison's disease, or Cushings, as it seems I have symptoms of both. Leave it to me to have something esoteric like that. Anyway the upshot of this is that none of these doctors have thought to consult an endocrinologist, and there are so few around here anyway, and withthe Covid they've all closed ...So I'm feeling rather weak, lost my strength in my legs and they have me on prednisone to make up for what the adrenal glands are not producing. 

Me so sick...
