The Christmas decorations are down and the...

...solars that we got a while ago to put up now are up. Love them, they cast rays of light to the sides also so they really illuminate the area well.

Three Kings Day...

So they just passed by the house handing out little gifts with a nice recorded religious message with music playing from speakers, It's a nice tradition, the reason for the season.

Now the chore of taking down the tree and the lawn decorations remain, but it was nice this year. The celebratory atmosphere could be felt after all the stress of these past years of hurricanes and pandemic. So Christmas is officially over, it went by so fast!

This year...

 A while ago my great grand daughter came to visit and my grandson had his little xylophone/piano toy out and he started a concert for her! He was playing away as if he could, then she started in too!  :D Everyone thought how cute it was! 

So I was looking for toys for Christmas and I saw these keyboards in a Walmart ad for $130 if I remember correctly, and I thought if I'm going to spend $50 or more on a toy that they're probably going to grow tired of quickly, (and they have so many toys already) I might as well get something a little more expensive but a ton more productive. So I splurged and bought two, one for the grandson and one for the great granddaughter. Needless to say they were a hit! Now the parents are all talking about getting piano lessons for them!

So everything is more or less stable thank God! Praying for better health in the New Year.

Christmas decorations, not finished...

 My grandson put them up, I supervised ; )   So I got a Nativity Scene, a small one but it doesn't show up clearly. I'm considering painting the bulbs according to each color behind the figures to see if it becomes more defined and clearer, just don't know if I have the energy...The angel as usual will go up on the roof as soon as my son can do it.  I love to see houses decorated, it means that there's happiness, love and spirituality. More people seem to be decorating around here and I love it.
