Weeeee! But there's a green little monster lurking...hehehehe

Love is in the air!...But I gotta be honest...
My daughter doesn't care too much for this relationship! (shhhhh)  I don't fully know, or am not sure of the why.  I don't know her that well, we've only been out with her to dinner twice, but...

My daughter, who is very protective of her nephew and niece, told me when she first came over, " she looks like one of those little have it all girls"  (the kind she didn't like at school because my daughter didn't 'have it all' and there's always those type girls, you know the ones)...She added "she better not break his heart".

Now, I have reservations about that judgement call, she seems like a sweet girl to me, but...

I've seen the interaction between them, well on my daughters part anyway, like the last time we were at Chili's, my daughter asked her (a tad bit icily) "so what exactly are you studying?" and she answered "physical therapy, but I want to start my own business eventually. "

I know my daughter and I could feel her bristling, no love lost there unfortunately. But I think I know why, I think it's just good old fashioned jealousy, envy. and I'll tell you why...

This young woman is the daughter of one of the oldest families of the town. (The town where I used to live in the fishing village). Her grandfather was the owner of what was once this small towns only funeral parlor. Actually only recently did another funeral home set up business there so now there's the grand sum of two. This mans son, who has now inherited the funeral home, is the girls father. So yes she comes from a fairly well to do family, as well as being one highly respected and loved by the town. But, she's really down to earth, so I'm just wishing them blessings and all the best in the world, and hey listen, nothing is forever, nothing is written in stone as they say, (except  death and taxes xD) for however long or short it lasts, they're very young, actually she's one year older than my grandson, she's in university already. They're enjoying themselves and whatever will be, will be... but my daughter, she's just waiting for the shoe to drop so she can say "see, I told you she was just playing with him, little rish bish!!!"

Me, I say  "so beotch what's so wrong with playing?" ...not to her of course...'cos you know...x*D

Ahhh, la vie, la vie...

So I fell again...

Wow, I'm just grateful I didn't break anything important but I think I have a fracture in situ, not displaced, in my wrist, either ...
