The Christmas Tree...

My daughter wanted it red and white this year, since she'd done it red and silver year before last, and white and cream last year, all she needed were a couple more red ornaments and a couple more white.

At Casa Febus, they always have different things there and economical as well, we found some cupcake like picks, as well as some tiny marshmallow and red berry picks and some weird white ones that looked for all the world like fish spines with a ball at the end xD, and also a candy swirled pick, so with that and a huge, (the only one left) white poinsettia, she already had small ones,  the look was complete.  Also picked up a stylized Santa figure that was on sale for the side table.

She didn't have a tree skirt but we were in Walgreens getting something else and lo and behold they had the perfect tree skirt. A satiny velour like material with a white fake fur trim, there were two left. Also I'd been looking for some lit gift boxes and hadn't found them and they had one set left so I grabbed it! But can't put them outside so I found a spot for them inside and we plug them in at night for a little Christmas cheer . And of course my decades old (35 years old) Nativity from Woolworth's I set up on the dining table.

We do have some lights we could string up around the outside ledge of the house, but I dunno if my son's up to it... One of the Star Shower laser lights konked out and I don't really know if I want to bother putting the one left outside. The beauty was to light up both palms by putting the lasers up on the roof and pointing them at the palms, but now there's only one so....anyway...

Oh, and she bought this iridescent ribbon but it was too much, so for some other time

Later my loves...

So I fell again...

Wow, I'm just grateful I didn't break anything important but I think I have a fracture in situ, not displaced, in my wrist, either ...
