This is the small town of Aguada on the west side of the island.
The funeral is held at the Catholic Church and is by the funeral parlor of my grandsons father in law. at the beginning of the priest sevice he walked off to the right and his daughter, my grandsons wife right behind him, and at the end of the service they walk back in and take the casket out to the hearse. It's always been a family business.
She got the idea to make and sell gingerbread house kits for Christmas, and she sold a whole bunch of them, my daughter helped her sell a bunch to the nurses at the hospital, now they're having a contest for the prettiest one, they get decorated tonight! I'll post pics. So quaint, but I like it like that.
Just a taste of small town daily life...
